At The Watches and Beyond Blog
Of all the things that have sprung about as part of the internet revolution the past, oh, two decades, Google Alerts might be my favorite. I get Google Alerts for phrases like Longines watches, Luxury Watches, Raymond Weil Watches… not only does it help me get the best stuff for this blog, but it also gives me with a constant supply of reading material on my favorite subject.
And every so often, the Google Alerts deliver something that just makes my jaw drop. And that’s exactly what happened when I got a message this morning about the Parmigiani Fleurier Fibonacci Pocket Watch.
This incredible timepiece “ has a case decorated with enameling of a lotus flower which mimics Fibonacci’s Golden Rule and it’s represented by the snail shape. The watch features mother-of-pearl counters and a white gold dial with a minute repeater with cathedral chimes and a perpetual calendar. The piece can take up to two years to be made.”
And can be yours for about $2,400,000.
For those of us who don’t have a few million dollars to spend on luxury watches, (which presumably is a high majority of you), we always recommend Watches & Beyond, which always offers an innovative way to shop for fine watches at affordable prices.
